Charles,
We returned last night from our wonderful ten day stay in Scotland. Our tour to and around the Isle of Skye was wonderful. We so much enjoyed your extensive knowledge of your country and your kind and gentle humor and care of us all. You are truly a most professional guide. Thanks for helping make this trip one of our most memorable

Charles;
Great trip with you, Ed, and Ian on Ed's 2013 Folk Song Tour. My fifth trip to Scotland, but the first with a guide. A wonderful experience. I look to do it again in a couple of years. Enjoyed hearing your commentary about the places we visited. Only complaint - I can't get the tune Three Crows Sitting on a Fence( wall) out of my mind.

Charles, it is no wonder that Ed has so many repeat visitors on the Songs of Scotland tour. You are a fabulous host and each time, something new is learned. Thank you for yet another magical trip to your homeland!!

Charles, I am still recovering from the lung problems I was having in Scotland. Only your very gracious assistance got me through some of our stops. It would be wonderful to come back to Scotland and spend time on another tour, but age and health probably make that but a dream. Give Ian a thanks as well if you see him. Kathy Howe and Terri

In January, 2010, on one of the coldest days Scotland has had recently, our car broke down at the Rob Roy grave and you rescued us. We want to thank you for your hospitality and kindness that afternoon. By the way, the reason the car broke down? My husband had accidentally put petrol into the gas tank. We so very much enjoyed the warmth, the tea, the cookies and our conversation with you. Many, many thanks again. As far as we aare concerned, the Scots are the friendliest people we've met in our travels.

An elegant, diplomatic and consummate professional, Charles Hunter was an impeccable guide for our 2009 Folk Song Tour of Scotland. His love for his country and his job was delightful. Rarely do you get to experience a tour guide with Charles' sense of history and place. He allowed our tour to experience Scotland, it beauty, its culture and its people at an unhurried pace. He focused on the off the beaten track spots that I would never found on my own. And, I most certainly enjoyed his wee bit of Scottish Tablet.
